21CMS.,ALSO CALLED GREY HEADED MYNA,IT IS RESIDENT OR PARTIALLY MIGRATORY SPECIES FOUND IN WOODED HABITATS IN INDIA THEY HAVE GREY UPPER PARTS AND BLACKISH REMIGES,BUT THE COLOUR OF REMAINING PLUMAGE DEPEND UPON SUBSPECIES.IN NOMINATE SUBSPECIES THE UNDERPARTS ARE RUFOUS.IT HAS LIGHT GREY HEAD WITH WHITISH STREAKING ESPECIALLY ON CROWN AND COLLAR REGION.THESE HAVE WHITE IRIDES AND YELLOW BILL WITH A PALE BLUE BASE. USUALLY FOUND IN OPEN WOODLAND AND CULTIVATION,YOUNG PLANTATIONS AND GARDENS.IT IS OMNIVOROUS.IT EATS FRUIT, NECTAR AND INSECTS.
